A Message from Barb
In this six-week Bible study of the Gospel of Matthew, Bible teacher Barb Roose takes
a deep dive with you into Jesus’ prayer patterns. When you pray like Jesus, you will
learn more about God’s character and His eternal plan and purpose for you. Along the
way you’ll learn that prayer is the place where God meets you with His heart set on
conversation and time spent with you.
BARB ROOSE is an author, and speaker at conferences such as the Aspire Women’s Event Tour, Proverbs 31 She Speaks Conference, UMC Leadership Summit and other national platforms.
She is a regular contributor to (in)courage, Crosswalk, and iBelieve. Barb is the author of seven Bibles studies including Surrendered: Letting Go and Living Like Jesus and Joshua: Winning the Worry Battle. She’s written five books including Winning the Worry Battle, Surrendered: 40 Devotions to Help You Let Go and Live Like Jesus and others.
Barb is the host of the Bold, Brave & Beautiful Podcast and writes a weekly Happy Monday devotional.
She serves as a teaching pastor at her home church with more than 6,000 in weekly attendance. Barb is the proud mother of three adult kids and two beloved in-law kids. Whenever possible, she prefers to eat dessert first.
