Christ-Centered - I agree that my goal will be to pursue a Christ-like attitude, actions and aspirations. 2. Side-by-Side - I agree that I will display respect, humility and kindness toward Barb, her paid staff and other interns. I commit to bringing my best self in my interactions with others. 3. Loving Authenticity - This is a safe space to be our real selves. I agree to showing up as my imperfect and authentic self. If there are times when I do not feel safe, I will let Barb know as soon as possible. 4. Trust - I agree to do what I say that I will do and understand that others will commit to doing the same.

Barb's Role - Check Each Box to Acknowledge Barb's Role - Check Each Box to Acknowledge I understand that Barb's role will be similar a "big sister" who isn't perfect, but has traveled farther down the road in the areas of speaking, writing and publishing. She will champion the internship program values. Her goal will be to lead by example, encourage interns' faith and to challenge interns to stretch and grow in their skills and capacity. I acknowledge that Barb will provide coaching in the areas of personal development, speaking, writing, ministry administration and leadership. However, Barb is not a licensed therapist nor counselor. If concerns regarding mental or physical health arise, Barb may suggest qualified support or resources.

Service Hours - Check Each Box to Acknowledge Service Hours - Check Each Box to Acknowledge SERVICE HOURS - This is an unpaid internship and I will not be asked to complete tasks that Barb's paid staff would perform. I commit to completing service TWO HOURS per week. I will prioritize fitting these service hours into my schedule, but I have complete autonomy as to when I complete my service hours. RECORD KEEPING - I agree to keeping a record of my weekly intern hours and providing records upon request.

Meeting Schedule - Check Each Box to Acknowledge Meeting Schedule - Check Each Box to Acknowledge MONTHLY TEAM MEETINGS - I commit to attending the monthly team meetings on the FIRST TUESDAY of each month from 8pm-9pm Eastern time via Zoom or other online platform. During these meetings, the intern team will discuss upcoming projects, events and ministry priorities. MONTHLY TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT GATHERINGS - I commit to attending monthly training meetings on the THIRD TUESDAY of each month from 8pm-9pm Eastern Time via Zoom or other online platform. During the training & development session, I commit to completing advance preparation assignments (periodically) to maximize my personal growth. PURCHASE BOOKS - As part of the intern program, I acknowledge that I will be asked to purchase up to three books to accompany our monthly training sessions throughout the year. This will be a personal expense and an investment in my personal development.

Coaching with Barb - Check Each Box to Acknowledge Coaching with Barb - Check Each Box to Acknowledge COACHING WITH BARB - I acknowledge that when I complete my weekly service hours, attend monthly team meeting and training meeting, I am eligible for ONE HOUR of one-on-one coaching with Barb. During this coaching session, Barb will gratefully assist in providing coaching, wisdom and assistance to help me accomplish my ministry, career or personal developement goals. I acknowledge that coaching hours will not accumulate month-to-month. I must use my free coaching timeslot the following month after I've qualified for it.

Conflict Resolution - Check Each Box to Acknowledge Conflict Resolution - Check Each Box to Acknowledge If there is an issue or offense that arises between myself and Barb, her paid staff or another intern, I commit to addressing the matter sooner rather than later by dealing directly with the other person. If that does not yield resolution or if I am feeling unsafe, I will notify Barb of the situation in writing. Once the matter is turned over to Barb, I commit to prayerfully participating in the resolution process.

Personal Conduct - Check Each Box to Acknowledge Personal Conduct - Check Each Box to Acknowledge STATEMENT OF FAITH: I've read Barb's statement of faith and acknowledge that I agree with it OR I will follow-up with Barb to discuss any areas of concern prior to completing the internship confirmation. PERSONAL CONNECTION WITH GOD - I agree to prioritize my relationship with God and experiencing times of connection with Him. CHURCH - While the intern program does not have any church attendance requirements, I agree to maintain connection with other believers, whether in an formal body of believers, regular attendance in a Bible study group or meeting regularly, but informally with other believers. PERSONAL CONDUCT - While it is not the internship program's intention to dictate personal morality, I agree that since this is a faith-based internship, I commit to not behaving in any manner that undermines or conflicts with Christ-like living. POLITICAL EXPRESSION - We recognize that interns may hold a variety of political positions or opinions. I agree to that I will not champion political opinions nor disparage political opinions that I do not disagree with. SOLICITATION - I agree that I will not solicit Barb, her staff or the other interns with any type of invitation or literature pertaining to any product, service or business opportunity. I also agree to not promote resources, materials or concepts that are not a part of the intern program without prior permission from Barb.
