More Impact. Less Pressure.

Years ago, a wise leadership consultant told me, “Barb, it’s okay to have a holy discontent for more.” Those precious, prophetic words tbecame streams of water to my parched soul.

At the time, I was an executive pastor at a megachurch and often stunned at how God opened doors for me to serve at such a great church.

At the same time, I’d risen as far as I could go as a leader, but I knew that I was capable of more. Yet, I felt guilty. Why couldn’t I just accept the place where I was? Still, I couldn’t let go of the conviction that God had put more in me, so surely, He had more for me.

I believe that God sent that consultant to speak those life-giving words to me. Realizing that I could have a holy discontent for more gave me permission to keep growing instead of gaslighting myself to be okay with keeping untapped capacity and skills underwraps.

But, the journey required new levels of faith. Taking risk. Letting go of the picture in my head of what I thought my leadership and growth would look like and embrace the journey that God unfolded in front of me.

In addition to my years as an award-winning pharmaceutical sales represenative, non-profit leadership, and large church leadership, I’ve spent the last decade as a full-time speaker and tradtionally published author of thirteen books and bible studies.

Now, I’m thrilled to my decades of experience and transfer it to you!
