My Story
GOD HAS MORE FOR YOU!
Years ago, while serving as an executive pastor at a megachurch, a leadership consultant told me something I've never forgotten: "Barb, it's okay to have a holy discontent for more." I'd risen as far as I could go in that role. I felt guilty for wanting more, like I should just be grateful for the door God had already opened. But I couldn't shake the conviction that God had put more in me. I chose to believe that God had more for me.
My discontent became a doorway. Stepping out in faith cost me comfort, certainty, and the picture I'd drawn of what my growth was supposed to look like. I couldn't control the journey, but I could anchor into God's faithfulness.
Over twenty-five years later and after careers as an award-winning pharmaceutical rep, nonprofit leaders, an executive pastor, and for the last decade as a full-time speaker and author of fourteen books and Bible studies, I've learned exactly what it takes to walk through that door.
Now I want to walk through it with you.

Applications open on August 25 – October 5. Spots are limited to an exclusive group of eight leaders. This allows me invest my best energy and effort into each leader's life.
Interviews in October and the cohort invitations will be given out in early November with final acceptance dealine of December 1.

Your Financial Investment
Option 1: $5,000 if paid all at once, which includes $500 deposit
Option 2: $500 deposit to secure your spot, payable within 30 days of accepting invitation to partipate in the Thrive Collective.
Then, there will be 12 monthly payments of $416.66 for a total investment of $5,500.
Cancellation and refunds:
- Within the first 30 days of enrollment, a member may withdraw and receive a refund of payments made, less a non-refundable $500 deposit that secures her cohort spot.
- After 30 days, payments made are non-refundable. If you need to step back due to a significant life circumstance, you may pause your involvement and, at Barb's discretion, resume in a future cohort at no additional cost.
- If a member stops making scheduled payments without formally withdrawing, Barb reserves the right to pause access to mentoring, training, and group attendance until payments resume or a withdrawal is processed.
- Paypal, Venmo, & Apple Pay are available in addition to electronic check. Cash is not accepted.
- For accounting purposes, monthly payments will be withdrawn on the same day each month. (Cohort participants can choose their days.)

Barb Roose is a Christian women's speaker and Bible teacher passionate about helping overwhelmed Christian women surrender what God never asked them to carry, win their worry battles, and live stronger than stress so they experience the great adventure of faith and purpose that God designed for them.
Barb's writings have also appeared in Simple Truth Magazine, iBelieve.com, Crosswalk.com, More to Life Magazine, Just Between Us Magazine, Girlfriends in God, Women of Faith and others. She is a part of the Hallmark Devotional (formerly Incourage) writing team.
Since 2005, Barb has spoken to groups ranging from 80 to 8,000 across the US and abroad, averaging 20–25 events annually. She loves teaching at churches and women's conferences around the country, including national platforms such as the Aspire Women's Events, She Speaks Conference, and the UMC Leadership Institute. Since entering full-time ministry as a speaker and author in 2016, Barb speaks an average of twenty-five times a year.
As a traditionally-published author of fourteen books and Bible studies with twenty-five years of leadership and teaching experience, Barb loves equipping women at every age and stage to dig into God's Word and to stop carrying what God never intended for them to carry. Her Bible studies and books include: Matthew: Pray Like This, Surrendered: Letting Go and Living Like Jesus, Joshua: Winning the Worry Battle, Stronger Than Stress: 10 Spiritual Practices to Win the Battle of Overwhelm.
A frequent missions participant, Barb enjoys serving in foreign countries. She's the proud mother of three adult children.
In her free time, Barb loves traveling, reading, and whenever possible, she prefers to eat dessert first.
