Do you need to laugh? We all do! On this episode of Better Together, I’m talking with my friend, speaker, author AND comedian, Amberly Neese. She’s the kind of fun that you need on a Friday afternoon during a pandemic. Trust me!

We’re talking about friendship and what YOU can do to find and keep life-giving friendships that bless you – and your friends. Find your tribe and get ready to thrive!

As she travels the country as a Bible teacher and comedian, Amberly met so many women who told her that they were lonely  – and it didn’t matter if they were single, married, with or without children.

Amberly’s new Bible Study, The Belonging Project: Finding Your Tribe and Learning to Thrive, explores the 50 “one anothers” in the New Testament. I’m a proud endorser of this study and I know that it will be a life-giving, life-transforming experience, especially if you’ve been starving for belonging!

During our conversation, Amberly points out how Jesus lived in community. We talked about how Jesus made friends:

First, he prayed. Second, he made the ask. Third, Jesus invited people different than him into his tribe.

It’s easy said than done, but it’s worth it!

If you’ve been feeling lonely, even though you spend hours on social media or you’ve got a house full of people, grab Amberly’s new study. Take a risk and invite a few women to do the study on Zoom or in a private FB group with you.

Amberly Neese loves sharing the joy of Christ. She is a popular speaker/teacher, humorist, and all-around encourager who has won the hearts—and funny bones—of people all over the country. Amberly is a featured speaker for the Aspire Women’s Events and the main host and female comedian for Marriage Date Night, two popular Christian events that tour nationally. She and her husband have two children and live in Prescott, Arizona, where they enjoy the great outdoors, the Food Network, and all things Star Wars. Learn more about Amberly at
